This guidebook explains how to customize a greenhouse gas (GHG) calculation tool (here referred to as the Tool Guidebook). It is designed to help the technical staff at GHG programs or initiatives such as GHG registries, and the technical staff at other institutions, such as local business or industry associations and/or consultants, adapt existing GHG Protocol calculation tools to use for a specific GHG program or to more closely reflect national and/or regional circumstances.
